sounds like your seals aren't working properly. i would have the dealer look at it, should be under warranty.

Don't you all get dirty door sills? I do. That indicates intrusion.

Having a v, I also get an extraordinary amount of dirt collecting just below the rear window on the ledge. But that is external and cause d by the Kamm effect and the collection of condensation from the window also collecting there.

Dirt on the door sills is annoying and so is the dirt that collects under the rear window. I love the way the car drives and the great fuel mileage, but the dirt is ugly. Everytime I put something in the back of the car, my hands get dirty!

dirt on the door sill is prior to the seal. dirt, air and water coming into the car is another matter.

Yeah really. That I would most definitely have the dealer service that. thats ridiculous, a brand new car and your getting dirt and water intrusion inside due to faulty sealing of the door/window, whether the door needs adjusting or maybe the weatherstripping replaced. they should cover that. for what you probably paid for that car, i would want it right not half-vast

The water doesn't get inside the car. It collects on the lower sill plate. It is annoying but it is not destructive. :)

The OP's not clear, it could be there's something wrong with the gasket along the bottom. Or not.

Space under the doors must be a common problem. During a heavy rain recently water came in under the doors and completely saturated the carpet, both front and rear. Carpert has to be removed and replaced. Local Toyota dealer, Palm Beach Toyota, is charging $1,600 for the job!!!
