My EV range on the dashboard after I fully charge is 43, sometimes 44 in warmer weather (drops to around 35 in winter). This morning, after a full charge it jumped to 49! Why would it have such a big jump in just one day? If it crept up to that level I would believe it, but don't understand why it would jump from 43 to 49 with no other changed factors that I am aware of.

I can think of 3 general possibilities:

    1. Today was different for some reason. HVAC, temp, last night's charge, etc.
    2. There was a really bad day in the history that just aged out.
    3. Software update overnight that changed some parameters.

If you forced me to guess, I'd wonder about a combination of 2 & 3. Maybe there was an update that had a side-effect of clearing out your driving history. So instead of looking back at however long it usually does(maybe a couple weeks or a couple months), it only had a snapshot of today's conditions. But that's totally a guess.

These are just estimates... Don't take them too seriously. And as mentioned using your HVAC is going to massively change your EV range, so even just a tiny bit of use or non-use will change those estimates.

Don't get too excited; those are just estimates based on your recent past driving style. As it gets colder, those estimates can easily go the other way.

Perhaps HVAC off, but not for long, although I guess that is possible explanation. No change in driving.
