Spoiled by Gas Mileage

    Is anyone else disappointed when they only get 40 mpg? My last car got half that but I'm becoming obsessed with beating my high score. What's the top mpg you've ever gotten and what were the conditions? My husband got 85.1 mpg on a 48 mile drive down a mountain in the "Brake" mode. I cannot beat that. But I want to. I got 83.2 on a 6 mile drive to work, using the pulse and glide method, in ECO Mode, and leaving an extra 10 minutes early to buy me time. Two different circumstances I know, but I want to win this.
