So what's the chance of Toyota offering a $20K Prius C with the 1.8L engine, a 4 wheel independent (sport) suspension, and at least 16" alloys"?

Looks like the strange hood and headlight locations have been axed.

Based on the aerodynamic shape of the car and the smaller size, my calculations estimate about 61 mpg!!! :D

Could we add a poll to this thread that says "who thinks this is a Yaris chassis?"

    Excellent :)

I think using duct-tape is taking this "soft touch" stuff a little far. ;)

I see they're already taking duct tape to handle all the rattles. That's forward thinking.

Hey, we're talking Toyota here! :D
I'm sure the exact positioning of that duct tape has been highly engineered and optimized. I can't wait to see it in the production model. I just hope they offer the tape in various colors. :D

    Good one.

Though I'm pretty sure that if Hobbit were here right now he would point out that it looks more like gaffer's tape.

The interior looks terribly stripped down. It had better be a lot less than $20k with an interior like that!

lol... anyone noticed that they have a traditional key-ignition instead of the push button start (which I presume goes in that hole next to the hazard light button). It looks like the shifter will be at the same height as the climate control and that it'll have dual gloveboxes.

I believe that it is the trick that company would not want the type of Prius C to leak
