squealing brakes

    I took my car in to Toyota to asses a few different things and to do something about my squealing brakes, unfortunately when I came to pick it up and started driving the brakes were squealing worse than ever. Went back and they said it was probably just some rust buildup and they would fix it at my 48k maintenance time. This is still 1600 km away...

    Any opinions on whether its OK to drive around with squealing brakes for this long? — about 4months for the amount of driving I do
