Startup screen

    what type and size of file can I use to replace the startup and shut down screen. I can not find it in the manual.

    The car animation on the MFD? This is most likely part of the ECU firmware and not user-replaceable.

    I don't know where or how, but someone did change the startup screen on their Prius. Keep Searching...

    I only remember some replacing the screen (& sound?) on the Prime, not the Gen 4

    I searched, but could not come up with the link - but I do remember someone replacing the initial "splash" screen on the Gen 4. At the time I remember thinking that it was not worth the effort since the screen features a white Prius similar to mine already...

    I've done it - 2½yrs ago - it's in the Entertainment System manual from memory. It only shows for 2 or 3 seconds, so not worth the bother.
