This might be a stupid question: I got my first used prius few weeks ago and realized that it doesn't have a state inspection and emission sticker on windshield. I am confused whether its not there because its not required (PZEV?) or its just not done and I need to do it myself? Also can it be done in any normal place (like Jiffy lube) or should I go to specialized place for hybrids?

    Thanks in advance

From this, it seems you need a vehicle inspection: TxDPS - Vehicle Inspection Program

You may also need an emission test. That info is in one of the pages from the link.
