We have a '08 touring and I wanted to pick up some steelies for our winter tires.

TireRack is showing both of these as fitting our car...

    Offset: 54mmBackspacing: 5.511"Bolt Pattern: 5-100
    Rec. Tire Size:195/55-16

    Offset: 45mmBackspacing: 5.47"Bolt Pattern: 5-100
    Rec. Tire Size:195/55-16

I can't image they both fit... help?

EDIT: We already have 16" winter tires.

I would just get some wheels from a Corolla, they would be 15's but they would fit, and should be fairly cheap.

I agree that you would do better to get 15" steel wheels and use the Prius 15" tire size, 185/65-R15. That will give you a narrower tire which is what you want for a winter tire. Not to mention tires of that size should be less costly compared to the 16" size.

Sorry, I should have included this in the upfront... we already have 16" winter tires.
