Be grateful if anyone knows whether its possible to increase the illumination on the steering wheel based controls (European car).

I know how to adust the main display but the controls on the wheel are unaffected by this. Many thanks, Adrian

It's not possible to adjust the illumination intensity of the steering wheel control buttons.

Keep your eyes on the road, not looking for steering wheel buttons. Set behind the wheel and then close your eyes (not while driving ) . Run your thumbs over the various controls. They are easily identified by touch and location. IMO, if they were any brighter you would be too tempted to glance down to see what you are poking.

I second this. At first the dimness bothered me, but now I never look at the buttons day or night. Toyota did a good job making the buttons easily identifiable by feel, much better than my Audi.
