Steering Wheel Buttons FIXED

    Just posting that replacing the clock spring (behind the steering wheel) fixed my buttons.

    If your buttons one side or the other is not working try replacing the clock spring.

    I did it myself and it was rather simple. YouTube rocks!!

    Pretty cool huh...

    When I bought my prius, the display did not show anything and I could not reset the oil change reminder on the screen.

    My trip button was not working.

    I was quoted over $700 for the part...

    I went on ebay and bought a new aftermarket one for $10 and bam!!!

    Removing the steering wheel looks scary to do with the airbag and all but it was easy enough.

    Congrats on the task!!!

    Yes car's been having these awhile now. Usually if buttons look like they could work. But don't . It's usually that spring. I have extra button pods never have used .
