Was thinking of custom making braces and putting more rivnuts on the chassis for mounting points. Looking at improving comfort and handling.
Has anyone done this before and does anyone know for a torsion beam what portion of the chassis stiffness is important?

Talk to Rude person's. He makes a set of braces that truly transform the Prius when installed. Best mod for the money ever when it comes to handling in my opinion.

    Really?
This what I did. I unbolted the stock flimsy brace and test drove with lots of cornering. No difference. Then I bolted the stiffened newer OEM brace. No change. Now, I was skeptic there would be any change. Someone with a different state of mind would probably feel some improvements (placebo).
