I tweeted my testing out a Prius and all. I got this snark back: "You'd need two though, perhaps some kind of gang... ...roaming the streets, looking for for charge points." But maybe he was kidding.

A plug-in isn't even remotely on my radar, even if they were out, as I have no outlets for it and I don't imagine the neighbors would appreciate the 100+-foot extension cord or my bringing it inside each night.

Edit: He now suggests waiting for plug-in because running out of juice on the highway is a great way to meet new people. LOL.

 

Yes i seem to remember that gen1 was using leyden jars weren't they? Then gen2 was those SLA's! gen3 of course had those horrible memory-effect nicads, and the v now has those fancy new nimh cells.
