Stolen 2005 Prius in Northern Virginia

    This just in from the Arlington County (Virginia) Police Dept crime report:

    STOLEN AUTO 08/01/08, VA YRS 4876, 2005 Toyota Prius, tan, 5200 block of Lee Highway .


    So if you're about to buy a used 2005 tan Prius, you might want to check with the coppers first to see if it's hot.

    Did they put it up on a trailer and tow it?

    I don't have any other details. The report just lists recent crimes. There was no suspect description so I don't know if they have any leads.

    oh so you dont want to do a bit of investigative journalism and obtain a copy of the police report???? are those public record? i am sure they will blott out the private information...
