I've got a 2006 Prius with GPS navigation. Is there a way to get rid of the caution warning one gets every time one starts the car? I have to press "Agree" each time and am looking for a setting to get rid of the warning. The warning reads:

    CAUTION
Drive safely and obey traffic rules.
Watching this screen while vehicle is in motion can lead to a serious accident.
Make all selections only while stopped.
Some map data may be incorrect.
Read safety instructions in Navigation Manual.

    Thanks,
    HL

    Unlikely.

I think it's a Toyota thing as a Land Cruiser I used to drive had it too.

The newer firmware allows you to tap the map button on the steering wheel or just wait it out. With the older firmware, you have to press the soft button on the screen, or add an external "lockpick" device that simulates the key stroke.

Very interesting. So I guess gen 5 v10.1 is the latest and greatest for 2007 Prius.

    Thanks qbee42 and dogfriend!
