    Didn't Clinton already help them out to develop FE cars (keeping toyota out of it)? and didn't they at that point basically bail out (leaving the hybrid market for Toyota's taking?). I'm not sure I want to give them more money to try again. Toyota seem to be able to define a new market fine so I think Ford/GM could as well (though it takes courage and vision). That said if GM would be willing to do a EV2 and Ford bring back their EV cars then...

    . . . then . . . get into the home solar electric market and produce packages where you get an electric car and solar charging.
