So, I saw something funny on a car and thought this would be a fun topic. Please list strange phrases, pictures, ads, etc you have seen while driving your Prius, (please no license plates...been there done that.)

    I will start.

Seen on the back of a VW Eurovan, "World's Biggest Van For Its Size"

Wouldn't that be true of any van?

Insight "HYBRID" decal on a CRX (placed in the same location as the Insight I might add)

Mercedes logo on a smart car (for god's sakes it's a smart not a MB. It's like buying a Crossfire and putting the MB logo on it)

I know that but that doesn't mean you can add their logo. That's also why I gave an example since the Crossfire is based on the old SLK platform. Ok, fine I'll use another example. A BMW logo on the MINI.

Haha, maybe. Or maybe someone commented how the back looked like an Insight and decided he could fool a fool or two.

A bumper sticker a friend of mine put on his car:

    If it jams, Force it.

If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

Another bumper sticker seen on the back of a black Porsche. The bumper sticker was white text on a black background so it looked like the letters were directly on the car.

    Why Be normal?

    (it was upside down)
    (think about it)

    I have seen:
    - a 'TRD' windshield banner on a CRX.
    - a 'VTEC' decal on a Geo Metro.
    - a 'Type R' decal on a Cavalier.
    - a genuine 'GT-R' badge from a Nissan Skyline on a Miata.

ok, not a weird car, but here was my 'welcome' to the beltway, the loop around the DC area and it's crazy driving.

A full sized sofa, sitting on edge, in the middle lane.

I wasn't driving, my partner was, and since it was in our lane, we had to swerve to avoid it.

The beltway is known for having some great idiotic spills and problems.

Wow, sounds like LA is not the only place with wierd objects in the road. Ladders are a normal occurance here... I've seen the occasional chair, sofa, washing machine, clothing... You learn quickly here that if you see a box on the freeway, you can never think it is empty, better to get yourself out of its way.

I think the wierdest thing I ever saw was a guy driving his car down the freeway when a clear plastic tarp got caught on his car... Covering the entire front area & most of his hood. He just kept driving, with that thing on his car. I wonder if he thought it would just free itself.

I have seen a trike that had a couch for a seat. Then again the guy looked like he weighed about 500 lbs so that is the only thing he couple probably fit in (other than the back of a flatbed truck).

Occasionally, life imitates art... even when art is Mr. Bean...

One morning a couple of years back, I was waiting to take a left turn onto the freeway on-ramp at a stoplight.

I looked into the rear view mirror, to behold the driver (male) in the car behind me, naked from the chest up. This was March, so a little early to justify going around topless.

He was putting his shirt on, and then his tie. Just in time dressing, apparently. Reminded me of the aforementioned Mr. Bean episode...

...right down to the point where he leans back and starts putting on his pants. One leg up, pants over...

Impressively, he was mostly done by the time the light turned green.

Down here I have seen a large number of mattresses and other bedding related items on the highways... along with a whole lot of dead cars. Seems people just pull the plates off when their car dies and leave it for someone else to tow away.

My favorite adornment is the ubiquitous post-9/11 "United We Stand" sticker, sharing a bumper with a Confederate flag decal.

    I've only seen a handful of these rolling oxymorons, but they are memorable. :p :p :p :p :p :|

Yesterday I saw a many massaging his feet out the window while driving.

Not exactly sure how he was driving, but am very sure I did not need to see his feet.

Those of you with cat avatars will not appreciate this bumper sticker seen on the campus, but it read, "Can't find your cat? Look under my tire!"

While driving around the city's outer loop, my wife and I once passed alongside a guy playing a bugle! He was really blasting, too! I guess his car needed another horn. Glad it wasn't a tuba.

Guy driving with his left foot on the dash (talk about flexibility)

Two accidents at the same place at the same time on two consecutive days.
