I have 165000 miles and my struts are getting worn. I am really picky about how it feels and on many cars I have only been happy with shocks like bilstein or sacks.

I don't find these available for mine. Has anyone replaced with OE and been happy? KYB and been happy?

I replaced rear shocks with KYB at 180k miles...they work fine for everyday use although I do feel like they're a bit on the soft side when carrying a lot of weight in the rear, but this may be more a function of spring stiffness rather than the dampers. I installed rubber buffers in between the spring coils to limit compression and thus making the ride firmer under heavy load.
