I have a 2004 Prius with JBL amplifier and 9 Speakers.

Now I would like to connect one of my active or passive (with additional amplifier) subwoofers.

    1. question:
the audio signal I will get off the rear speaker output of JBL amplifier, correct? (it seems to be a "full" range output)

    2. question
how is the easiest way to connect the remote/power signal to turn on the amplifier, when car is on ?

    Thx

A basic hi to low converter should have a remote turn on output. If not you can buy just the remote turn on by itself. Peripheral makes one called LVT or LVT2.
