    {Bailiff enters courtroom}

    “All rise!

    Here Ye! Here Ye! The trial court for the personal opinion of Mystery Squid is now in session, the Honorable Mr. E. Squid presiding:â€

    Please be seated…

    In light of the recent political arguments within Prius Chat’s Fred’s House of Pancakes, I have drawn several conclusions regarding the expressed and exposed political landscape, and they are as follows:

    1. It has been repeatedly proven beyond reasonable doubt in the eyes of this court, the vast majority of participants within these various arguments are unable to extract personal bias against our President, Mr. George W. Bush.

    This comes as no surprise, of course, as Prius Chat is composed of members weighed towards the left, as is evident through this small sampling of Prius Chat members and their political leanings:

    http://priuschat.com/Prius-Owners-Liberal-...ive-t15466.html

    Given, any supporting arguments in favor of Mr. Bush, have a high likelihood of being attacked in any one of the following fashions: irrational, without basis, incorrect definitions, misleading, biased, tarnished or warped perspective, inexperienced, naïve, misinformed, etc, etc, etc,.

    2. Regarding the issue of Malorn; One of the more unique posters, the court acknowledges upon him an Honorable Mention. Here we have someone whom has reached out into politically hostile territory, within not only a political respect, but vehicular. After all, he is a GM dealer posting within Prius Chat! Point is, he’s made the effort to come here, gather, listen, to all your opinions, and participate within various arguments, and is the embodiment of the values his opponents tend to profess, yet rarely exhibit themselves. Expectedly, he is met with much hostility analogous to a Prius owner going to a Hummer forum, and making similar commentary.

    3. Notwithstanding the two points above, it has been an exceptionally wonderful, and challenging experience for which the court recognizes the contribution of each and every member regardless of their political affiliations, positions, beliefs, etc.

    This court then concludes, political arguments within Prius Chat’s Fred’s House of Pancakes, generally result in not enough weight to give logical credence to opposing viewpoints, and thereby can only be used for entertainment purposes. With respect to these arguments, in the words of the late, great, Douglas Adams, “So long, and thanks for all the fish.â€

    {picks up gavel}

    POCK! POCK!

    Court is adjourned.

    There's a reason for everything, including the fact that, not counting the dead-center Moderates, liberals outnumber conservatives at PriusChat, 97-65.

    Case closed.

    Next!

    And then there are the “cases†where misleading or moronic “evidence†it presented. :huh:

    I have no doubts that liberals outnumber conservatives here on PriusChat, and most likely at a higher ratio than the 97-65 poll portrays. Liberals outnumber conservatives in real life too. So why do conservatives win as often as they do???? In relation to their numbers, conservative voters show up at the polls in greater percentages than liberals.

    As a “moronic†case in point; In this Priuschat poll, Condie is currently beating Hillary 44-40.
    http://priuschat.com/Hillary-or-Condie-in-08-t13210.html

    [stand by as the liberal activists flood the poll to change the numbers and then say I misstate the facts . . . or that there is a vast right wing computer conspiracy which flopped the numbers, or that they were discriminated against at the poll because __________ . Or is it that there is a new, never before seen “electronic hanging chad?? :rolleyes:

    Well that's just rude. This coming from the man who continuously mentioned on another post that the only two NATO nations that did not support the war was Germany and France. You mentioned it over and over again, and it is absolutely and catagorically untrue. Canada, Greece, Belgium, etc were all opposed to the war, and you stated an INCORRECT position over and over again that was, how shall I put it: irrational, without basis, incorrect definitions, misleading, biased, tarnished or warped perspective, inexperienced, naïve, misinformed, etc, etc, etc,.

    Yup, I agree that there is a partisan nature to politics, it's much easier to criticize those that you see as the "other" rather then the self identified "group", but I've seen just as much Bush love fellatio that was: irrational, without basis, incorrect definitions, misleading, biased, tarnished or warped perspective, inexperienced, naïve, misinformed, etc, etc, etc,.

    You sir, are either arrogant and quite biased yourself, or just screwing with people, which may be the most likely situation; in which case great job at stirrin' the pot :lol:

    Peace,
    Cosmo

    No, the whole point of the exercise what to get an answer that was NOT pre-spun towards any perspective.

    Then, THEN, you explore, draw your own conclusions, give reasons for such that you think negate the factual component, but DON'T try and pass it off as something other up front.

    Obviously, this seems a bit too difficult for various individuals.
