    Has anyone ever seen or used these? Curious if they really would work. They look interesting.

    nah..... i've seen shades like this for cars i've had in the past.... i just stick with the custom cut/fit ones that you roll up when not in use....

    I have the one similar to the one sold on this site, but I bought it from our local Prius Club.

    We made our own sunshade, and even lined the interior side with gray material

    YES, an interesting concept, but I would suspect that when they are "folded up" toward each window pillar, they DO take up a couple of inches, this would create a little less viewing area and perhaps create a "blind spot" !!
