One of the cheapest mods for looks. Removing the badges (debadging) the rear hatch.

Cheap but not free - Stubby Antenna ($8 on amazon for oem one from a honda), replaced all light in interior with LED (10 bucks on ebay)

totally worth the money - Tinted windows!

Free: pop out the Toyota emblem. Remove the printed card with the cheesy blue "glow". Put the emblem back. Done.

I don't even remember what auction it was cause it was like a year ago lol. I just searched for 2007 Prius interior led set and went with one that was in the US so I get it sooner.

    Rears are tinted 15%

Apologies ... saw the thread in 'recent posts' and didn't notice the specific forum. Congratulations, your car already comes with the no-blue-glow feature!

That "blue glow" is the signal that the car is a hybrid, FWIW.

Best bang for the buck thing I've done is getting a $15 bluetooth receiver for the aux port so I'm able to stream music from my phone.

    It's NOT really a mod.
But since I've witnessed people make vehicles buying decisions with literally thousands of dollars of difference based on this reality?

For about $15, I really like the plastic, adjustable drink holder that I bought. Like a center console.
    You can find these anywhere.
I've actually had mine for several years now. Have kept it and taken it from one vehicle to the next.

Since I have heard people complain that a vehicle they were considering didn't have enough cup holders, or storage space. And sometimes choose a different and much more expensive vehicle based on this criticism- Well? for 15 bucks, I add two adjustable cup holders and space for a lot of items.
Bang for the buck as far as convenience - It's the easiest, Wally World $15 dollar "mod" you can make.

How do you get the emblem off to do this? I hate the blue background.

Best mod is a cellphone holder mounted to the dash with a cable running to the aux port. Total mod cost less than $20 for pandora radio, google maps, etc.

If you go changing your turn bulbs to led, you'll need a LED relay unless you like the hyper active blinking. You can't change the Gen2 brake lights, but can change the taillight bulb and front parking bulbs to led. As far as changing the front headlights, the options are endless but nothing beats a projector retrofit with HID to date.

Sorry in advance for so many pictures...
    • Resolution to the hyper blinking turn signals is a $12 LED relay from 'A-azon'- that is relatively cheap.
    • LED turn signal bulbs are 'cheap' individually but collectively can add up to $50 if you get super bright CREE 80W amber bulbs.[IMG]
    • Super bright EFFECTIVE headlights cannot be done cheap. period. Anyone can buy an LED or HID kit and use it in a Halogen assembly, but you will play havoc with on-coming traffic because the reflectors are different in the OEM halogen headlights and the OEM HID headlights.

    • Headlight mods are not cheap and can be very costly but VERY rewarding. Once the best mods I did for both cars that helped the look of the car plus the safety of seeing good at night without blinding oncoming traffic.

Possibly just interested in the retro fit hid lights are these super bright and are these easy to fix think I might leave all the others as standard however I just need a new fog light for the front as one is smashed are these easy to fit too and what type do I need or are they all pretty similar
