    Apparently there are some EVs in high demand with small inventory, Tesla and Bolt. Other EV makers have a lot of EVs on their lots ... at buyer's sale prices:

    Ford had 86 days worth of F-150 Lightnings and 113 days' worth of Mustang Mach-E electric crossovers on hand, Cox said. A Ford spokesman said Cox's figures overstate the inventory available at dealerships. Ford built 46,238 Mach-Es during the first half of this year, and sold 14,040 of the midsize crossovers, according to data posted on its investor site. Ford cut prices for Mach-E models in May.

    Volkswagen dealers had 131 days' worth of ID.4 electric crossovers in inventory, according to Cox data. In a statement, Volkswagen's U.S. sales arm said "we have seen some softening in EV sales in the U.S. recently" as supply chain bottlenecks have eased, allowing for increased production.    ​

    just today, a couple dealers sent out specials. 10 grande off the bz4x, and an 18 month low investment lease on ariya.
    i would call these middle market cars, above my paygrade. but i realize it's not a lot of money for many people.
    if i were going to drop 50-60 large on an ev, i'd go with the company that's been doing it longest, and has their own charging infrastructure.
    regardless, they will all sell when price drops equalize supply and demand

    Still not seeing a load of Hyundai ev6's piling up. Being at the top of the efficiency game may have something to do with it

    Saw a story today on one of the news feeds how new and used car prices are dropping. Just checked KBB on my Rav4 hybrid Limited loaded and its value has dropped $3k in the last 2 months. Still $1k per 10k miles since new is trivial depreciation.

    One of the largest car dealership networks in the nation went under 2022 in the midst of the new car repo crisis

    some folks were worried about having their car repod because they couldn’t get information about who would take their car payment

    The one in Florida sold me a 2017 BMW i3-REx for a dang good price, $15,000. It is my new, urban ride with 'highway privileges.'
