    Considering that gas prices are at $3.00 per gallon, and headed to $3.50 by summer, it's very believable that more people are going to be purchasing hybrids for their next vehicles.

    (the gasoline we are buying at the pump today is from $72/barrel crude oil. The crude oil futures for late May and early June delivery are currently selling for $85/barrel. 85/72 = 1.18 = 3.54/3.00) You will be paying about $3.50 per gallon this June.
