    We bought our '05 Prius in late '04 and have just bought an '08.

    My '05 has 147,000 miles on it and a portion of that distance has been on very rough dirt roads. It has and continues to serve us well.

    Until driving the '08 we were unaware just how loose the body had become on the '05. It rides much rougher, is noiser and rattles.

    With backup transportation now available, it is time to get the '05 some well deserved suspension and body maintenance. It seems most Toyota dealerships don't do their own work and I don't want someone screwing things up.

    As a minimum I suspect I need:
    * new shocks all around
    * new suspension rubber components
    * the rear spoiler re-attached (it has become somewhat loose)
    * the hatchback re-adjusted
    * the lower rear body work adjusted as it has shifted somewhat
    * lower front grill work from hitting a piece of a tire when on the freeway

    I could really use a good recommendation in the Phoenix metro area.

    Thanks

    Jim
