As the title says, I’m experiencing creaking sounds coming from the suspension while going slowly over speed bumps and driveway approaches but ONLY when the brakes are applied.
    Anyone experience this? Any fixes?

    Thanks

I don't know if you wish to do a DIY repair/ inspection.
Appling brakes is a weight transfer to the front suspension.
10 yrs 130K miles could be the rubber suspension components have hardened, cracked, need lube, loosened or failed.
Further, as you state "while braking", it could be caliper related.

I could suggest you do one wheel first, in an attempt to find the specific issue.
Perhaps the easiest, but prudent, way is to remove one rim/ wheel.
Spray silicon spray onto all the rubber components to lube them.
Check the condition of the lube on the caliper / pad pins.
Check the bolt torque on the shock absorber mounts and the caliper.
You could go further and check all the suspension mounting point bolt torques.
Reassemble, test, and repeat the other wheels as needed.

Finding creaks and rattles can take some time.
Sometimes, even if you are sure the noise is from the front it is actually in the rear.
    That's my two cent comment.
    Good luck.

Struts come to mind. Egrs don't.

Does it sound any different when you reverse over a speed bump with brakes applied?

Most suspension creaks I've chased in older Japanese cars came down to dried-out bushings for the control arms, links and sway bars.

So far I can't account for why yours would change with brakes added.

Braking changes the suspension loading. It's a suspension bushing or fitting.

Thanks for all the tips. Was hoping someone shared the same issue and had a quick fix. I hate looking for “noises”!

looks like I have a lot of investigating to do.

You could rent a set of chassis ears (that's the name of the tool) to make the hunting a bit easier.

Or just get a few cans of silicone lube and hose down every rubber bushing you see.

Looking at the bushings may reveal them to be cracked/leaking. Eventually there will be a sound so very likely this problem can be seen.
