I have a 2012 prius v level 5. This is my first hybrid vehicle that I have owned and I must admit that I am enjoying my fuel economy. Since there isn't much one can do to increase power I thought I would increase the handing of the car. I am starting with a suspension upgrade via a larger front sway bar. I have found that tanabe and cusco sell increase diameter bars and I am favoring the tanabe 25.4 mm bar. However, I was wondering if anyone might know what is the diameter of the stock OEM sway bar on the car. Thanks

Planning to get the Tanabe myself or the TRD one that comes on the Prius Performance Plus (or something to that effect).

Does the v come with a rear sway bar? If not then you should start there. Adding a larger front sway bar will only serve to increase the already abundant understeer.

I agree that u should start with a rear sway bar. U might find it to be enough of an improvement.

I'm happy with my Cusco RSB

Try the TRD rear bar - I'm happy with mine.

I like the Cusco only cause I doesn't have the brushing that tend to squeak.
