T-rex was a slow turd!

    So the article says his top speed was more like 25 than 45... i can buy that, he was a big guy. But then again, so were many of the other dinosaurs. Did you know that an Elephants top speed is also 25 MPH? And that a Humans is only slightly higher than that (27.89 MPH)? Other dinosaurs are estimated to have weighed up to 100 tons - how fast do you think those guys could go?

    I wouldn't rule out the T-Rex as a predator just yet... it would be interesting to know how fast the other dinosaurs around him could go. It is pretty apparent, however, that the Jurassic Park version of a T-Rex weighing 6-8 tons chasing after a car is a little absurd.
