I second that, and wish you all the best on moving PC to a reliable ISP with RELIABLE servers. My grandmother always warned me about the innate perversity of inanimate objects... And she never saw a computer!

Glad Danny got things worked out. I was beginning to curse at my laptop, . I have PC and HiHy set as start pages in FFox. When they wouldn't open I thought I was having wireless probs again. Gald it wasn't that. I had enough pc problems with this laptop a few months ago. No more for a while is fine with me.

You must have been one of the first when it came back up, bigdaddy. Kinda like coming home to an empty house, huh? I saw where DocVijay and a couple others had been able to access PC and post briefly around 5:30 EST Mon. and I was able to get in this morning, but only to read a PM.

The moon moving away from the earth another inch or so caused a gravitational pulse, and it knocked out the PriusChat server.

Ha, I wouldn't doubt it. Not too sure what the problem ended up being, but somehow things went down, I was on vacation in Miami (how 'bout that Orange Bowl???), and was unable to get things back up working with my brother via telephone. So, things sat until I got home last night and I was able to get everything back up within about an hour or so last night.

Sorry for the downtime... I tried working on it when I got back to the hotel in Miami at 3am Tuesday night after the game, but decided that since we had to drive back at 7am that I would try to get some sleep.

I hope everyone had a nice PC holiday :) Sometimes you just need a break from the site, right?? :)

No more than 20-30 minutes, at the most. :D Gotta take the occasional break from PC at the office to get this minor interruption called 'work' done every now and again. LOL...

No fair sporting the halt and the lame. Especially on the part of Mods, who have their own peculiar vulnerabilities. :p

Alright, Jack. Sorry about that but it was just so hard to resist. I decided to not even try. :)

Seriously though, they really did have a "Leap Second". You can Google it or read about it on Wikipedia.
