Tax credit for 2006 Prius's

    It's almost time to do our annual tax return. We always do the 1040 form. Does anyone know for sure how it will work with the short form? Thanks.

    Based on the current version of the 2006 Form 1040A, it doesn't look like you'll be able to claim the hybrid tax credit on the short form. Use the Form 1040 (long form) instead.
