Tax credit for used Prius?

    Does any one know if you can receive a federal tax credit if the car is used or is ity just for the original buyer?
    I just bought a 01 classic. Thank you. Leslie

    Sorry - a used vehicle does not qualify. Even the TRAC cars with just a few hundred miles on them do not qualify for the federal tax credit. Must be new to qualify.
