I still can't believe some of the idiotic cave-man comments from readers, but the video is sweet!

I also wish Jay wouldn't keep harping on his 110 mile range in the Baker unless he specifically mentions that's at maybe 15 mph! Drive the Tesla at 15mph, and you'll get way better than 220 miles!

Jay knows the Prius. Otherwise why mention the 40-90 % charge thing?

I wonder if Jay has ordered a Tesla yet.

Sat in a Tesla Roadster in Menlo Park showroom. Must be something like getting into a kayak. Saleslady said 'it's great for getting around town, shopping'. I'm thinkin' yeah right, but no complaints, she was kinda hot. ;)

I was given a ride in one a couple of years ago. It's a beautiful car, but the seating position was not comfortable. I heard they've changed the seat since then. Also, one of the things I like about an EV is the quiet, but the liquid cooling system for the Li-Ion batteries is noisy. And the Roadster has a microscopic trunk and zero space behind the two seats.

I'd have bought one in spite of all that, but their estimated delivery time was over a year if you gave them a $50,000 deposit, and that was a deal-breaker for me.
