What a crock. Funny it didn't make the REAL media ... not even cop cars (photoshoed) in the backround. Likely posted by GM's Lutz.
    ;)

No, it's real...been in discussion for a couple of weeks on Teslamotorsclub.com. It's in Europe, which is why we probably haven't heard much here.

Fuel-efficient pileup. Sounds like the Prius driver was at fault, maybe he got overly excited about driving behind the Tesla and forgot to stop!

 The Prius loves the Tesla so much and decided to mate with her, but the Tesla already found a more muscular SUV. :)

It looks like the Prius drivers cage is untouched. That signifies to me that the driver didn't have any crumbled dash or interior to be moved before exiting the car. Impressive. The car means little to me. Walking away alive means allot.

Prius drivers are not exempt from cell phone laws !!!!

Hang up and pay attention to the road !!!

From this photo, it is obvious and clear that the Prius rear-ended the Tesla, which was pushed under the SUV. The debris field around the Tesla is fore and aft of the rear wheels; the Tesla was compacted between the Prius and SUV. Considering the left side of the Tesla is not crushed from the side, the only way the SUV could have ended up in that position is if the Tesla was pushed under the rear end of the SUV and the SUV's front wheels maintained traction as the Tesla pushed the SUV rear end around the side of the SUV front wheels (notice the white stripes marking the lanes on the road).

One of my favorite parts of this is that the battery box (in the rear of the Roadster) appears to be totally intact with the weight of the SUV parked right on top of it, and after having been smashed from the rear. The thing was designed to be bomb-proof, and it is proving itself well.
