    That's why you hit up a rental place for a truck that will only cost you $80 for the day. It's not like you would do haul such things on a regular basis. If you do then that article wasn't for you. lol

    It looked to me as though resale value was their primary criterion. Resale value is not a major factor to me when I buy a car, although it is not to be discounted entirely as it undoubtedly is an indicator of quality/reliability at least to some extent.

    I think you are missing his point. I think he's pointing out that while a Prius is still smaller than a Camry, it can actually be more practical and can "haul" a lot of things, like twenty 2x4.
