The big day

    I just purchased a used 2004 Prius, BI package in Red. The color was better than in pictures and I jumped on the deal. Will be picking it up in about 2 hours.

    Not a brand new one, but still saves me a few thousand dollars.

    My grin is getting bigger and bigger as the time to pick it up approaches :D

    I envy you! My Prius will not arrive for another three weeks. The good thing about it: I have to drive about 400 miles to get home after picking the car up in Long Beach, CA! It will be the best drive of my life!

    In the few hours after I picked up my Prius, I put in more than 50 miles and MFD is showing about 48mpg, twice the mpg I was getting with my old tC :D

    I settled for a no frills, BI package 2004 model. Doesn't have all backup camera of the 06, put I will save a good chunk of money on my insurance. Best of all, my finance rate through TFS is 6.5%, compare that to Capital One's lowest rate of 6.99% on used cars. I couldn't be happier.

    Now time to mod :p
