What debate? There is no debate. The plural of Prius is Prius.

That should start the flames going again (hohohahaHAHAHAyeaaaaa....)

    I personally prefer:
    • Singular: One Prius
    • Plural: Three Prii
    • Collectively: A smug of Prii

That's correct: They do travel in "smugs".

Prii is the only thing that sounds right to me...and I like them in "prides"...a Pride of Prii.

When I say it out loud, I say "Priuses" because that best fits the vernacular.
When I type it on Priuschat I write "Prii" because it's sort of an in-joke here.
When I'm with stuffy Latin professors who have no idea that language actually evolves I say "Priora."

It's true that Prii travel in "Smugs," but did you know that when they're parked together, they're said to be in a "clutch"? When it comes to Prii though, never pop a clutch ;)

Boy did I have it wrong! I thought they traveled in a pack (as in battery pack). I also thought several were called Preez. I kind of like Pri-S-I (like CSI)

You have a choice: You can call them Prii, or you can be wrong.

I have been saying "Preii" as well. It falls into the same category as "Guinness." What do I ask for when I want two beers at once! "Gunnii!" of course!
