    Interesting... Flow batteries have been around for a while but they have had poor energy density (often < 100 Wh/kg), so the claimed 1300+ wh/kg would be a real breakthrough. The still often have problems with high current demands and putting together cells for the high voltage. Complex plumbing, but with the advantage the "battery" capacity as a liquid it would be easy to shape it into nearly unusable space.. and potentially have a lot of it. The idea of a "fluid exchange" as a rapid recharge has interesting potential for very long trips. Or even having a "spare expansion tank", not used every day but add a few extra gallons for the long trip...
