    It was a toss up between pumpkin and chocolate chip, but I chose pumpkin because it's generally less easily available and thus more alluring.

    Another "Whatever I'm in the mood for" vote here. Actually, it's more like "Whatever the local coffee shop has that looks good" ... more often than not it's either a chocolate chip or a walnut coffee cake.

    Well, pumpkin sounded good so that's what I voted for, but I like pretty much any kind of muffin.
    You left out all the possible combinations- a deli down the street from me makes pretty good banana blueberry muffins; banana chocolate chip is good, too.

    I used to buy bread at a bakery in Fargo that had pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. But those weren't really muffins. They were small pumpkin-chocolate cakes. I voted banana walnut because that's actually a muffin.

    I also voted "whatever" but, when they have them, usually in the fall, Starbucks' Maple Struesel Muffins are my all time favorite.

    I'm a big fan of Chocolate Chip, Blueberry (with the sugary stuff on top), and Applesauce. Sweet Cornbread muffins are good too. OK, now I' hungry...
