    I stumbled across this article regarding the use of flywheel technology to convert kinetic energy as opposed to chemical energy into electrical energy. Several potential advantages and several drawbacks to be overcome, but if you're into this sorta thing it's a good read :).

    Inspired by the flywheel powered push toys, as a child I always wanted to fit a flywheel to drive my billy cart but didn't have either the knowledge or the skills to try. It is interesting
