    Does anyone know why it would not work to splice into the purple headlight flash wire with the new wire to HV ECU H14 hole #27 (described on page 19 of your excellent article).

    It seems like it would allow simultaneous headlight flash and EV mode state change, lights on or off to my naive consideration.

    Would it overpower a circuit in lights ECU or other ?
