I was trying to research the Lithium Ion battery plug-in option and good information seems hard to find. I found websites that asked for a $1000 deposit, but had not been updated since 2006. Is there a list of companies/prices that do the plug-in mod? When I bought my Pruis, the guy said the prices have come way down on these mods. I can find no evidence of a price drop.

i think you might be better off tracking the multitudes of companies that will be introducing all electric vehicles instead.

a decent plug in option is going to be $35,000 after you consider the price of the car and the price of the mod. that is a bit too high for the majority of people right now.

a good solution that is $25,000 is what needs to happen.
