the toyota prius 2006.

    hi there prius people. does my 06 prius handle pretty bad in strong cross winds or is it my imagination? does any one else notice this?i love the car sooooo much and if it has to be then so be it. like i say i love this car and i will be extra cautious when its real windy thats all i guess? thanks :blink: pete

    Lots of talk around here about handling. Some things to search for that have already been discussed a LOT with some very good suggestions:

    1. Tires. OEM tires are narrow, lightweight, and built to have a low rolling resistance, all of which which seem to sacrifice a little bit of stability.
    2. Chassis stiffening plate. Replaces an OEM part that many feel is too flimsy.
