Thinking of 2 toning it

    I have the Moonglow PC3 and I am thinking of adding the Blue Streak Metallic to it. The guy told me to run some tape to see where I wanted to put the line for the split. I was using painters tape and got carried away, no it is not the right blue, but any thoughts? Yes, I'm doing the whole roof, just got tired of running tape. And I can go either way on the door handles.

    Yeah, the two-tone doesn't quite work for *me*, but I can certainly see the appeal. I also think you (and others) are quite brave to do your own mods, body work, painting. I'd probably freak out if anyone expected me to do the same, and I'm not a car-shy kind of person.

    I like it. Not for my self but I still think it looks cool. i like the pic where the door handles are blue and i like the blue strip below the rear window. My only adjustment would be to only paint the hood,top and rear stripe. Basically I wouldnt paint the side pannel between the windshield and doorsor the top of the door frames.

    I can't say it's my cup of tea either. I do like the blue'd out front bumper mouth though. Just FWIW, most traditional 2-tone paint jobs have the darker color on the bottom of the car.

    i would go just a little lower on the paint line below the side windows so one can really notice the difference.. have you considered having the car vinyl wrapped so it is not a permanent solution...

    I personally think it's a pretty cool idea, and I really like the looks of it with only painters tape haha.. Definitely would like to see end results.

    Man thought all love this. I know it do it freaking rock if you ask me. I also love the blue on the handles. Only thing I'd say to do differently is you should put some kind of personal logo or symbol on the hood on top of the blue.

    Keep us posted on what you do and how much it costs.

    $1500, I can't complain. Another place wanted $1000 to do the same thing in a wrap, but it would only last 3 years.
