    My nearly 4 decades ago 1984 Cab 911. It had been bumped up to 231 HP by then. (sigh) ... after marriage the better ½ said 'we' could use that money for better things .... :(

    I had long wondered if all Prius ICE engine, fuel, and exhaust systems could be replaced by batteries. Just keeping the transmission and inverter would make it electric.

    Only missing the engineering and crash testing. Charge port, suspension to handle the added weight. Little things like tires able to handle the weight. Brakes too. Where will you get it insured?

    Pretty sure that article covered that. It’s not a chop shop. They charge a pretty penny for the conversion for a reason.
