This might be a silly question....but what did you name your prius?

I'm happy with my new car. I'll be frank, it's more than just a new car, she's a member of the family and for some reason I like to give names to personally important things that I own. Since it's Friday, and I'm daydreaming about being in my car (at work atm), I figured (hoping) the mods and PC vets wouldn't get too mad if I made a light-hearted solicitation for what you named your prius and if it's relevant, what gender you attribute it to. I realize the naming of your car can be a real personal thing, so you don't need to share if you don't want...
So, at the risk of being ridiculed and possibly ostracized for the duration of my lifespan here at PC, I'll start:
Blizzard/Pearl 2010 - Fenix as in fenix fox.
Haven't really finallized the gender yet, I'm pretty sure it's a female (the mrs. and I originally named her Felicia).

6xSBChamp...Pittsburgh Steelers fan. And since the Steelers don't have official "cheerleaders" like all the other NFL teams...my car is male.

I name my cars after the person that I bought them from, so when I receive mine it will be named Jeff.

    Previous cars were named:
Larry - 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
Larry - 1990 Civic Si Hatchback (Purchased from a different Larry than the Olds)
Sam - 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT
    David - 2004 Suzuki Vstrom 650

    Hmmmmm.......I don't know?
I pick our new to us Prius up tomorrow morning.
Maybe "Rich", because that is how I feel driving it, and because it is the most expensive car I've ever bought to date....

But then I'd have to name my other vehicle, a 1999 Jeep "Rob" because I feel robbed when buying gas for it compared to the Prius.

I"m thinking the Prius is of the male gender, because when I test drove it today is was so quiet.....which is something I've found that is rare with the female gender......

It's a 2007 and it is kind of a light sandy color....I do not know the official color.....perhaps I'll call it Sandy....or maybe genius because one of my best friends owns a Smart car and I think my Prius will be smarter........

I'll think about it some more.

Iam with you regarding the cost of the vehicle . . . this will be approximately $7000 more than I have ever paid for a vehicle. I also agree with the Sandy color. No comment on the gender thing

Would you believe "Silver"? How imaginative, eh?

But the plate says HYO, which is just too obscure for most people. You'd think they'd put the two together, but no.

Boy, it must be late or I'm not sober. I misread your questions and the word prius, I was going to say, wow, that is a very personal question you are asking.

    Tony,
If this wasn't a strictly moderated internet forum I would call you a wanker, but as it is I had best not.

I might add that in Australia to call a friend such names is accepted with good humour when it is said in this manner. Don't try this with a 7 foot tall, built like a brick sh!thouse Hells Angel unless he is a friend of yours.:bolt:
