    2006 toyota prius full loaded!!

He says he could do as low as $6200 on it since that is what the dealer offered him for it. Thoughts?

    It's got 175k on it.

Thanks for any and all input.

"renewed the hybrid system 1 year ago" What exactly does he mean? Assuming he means the HV battery was replaced, that would be a very good thing. If it's in good condition and has good records the price doesn't seem too high to me.

Quite a few miles on the clock, but if the traction battery was replaced then it might be worth having. I would ask for more information concerning the "renewal" of the hybrid system. I wonder why he changed oil so often 1500 seems excessive when the standard is 5K - Price sounds reasonable to me.

Good luck dude, I know you want another Prius. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I have that year with all options, it's a nice car, I replaced shocks and front wheel bearings, and tailpipe, it's a trooper, going in next month for a general ding removal;)

I have an OBD2, it wouldn't do anything if it's not throwing any error codes right?

If you used it and it worked before on your previous Prius, it should work also on his. Most OBD2 readers will at least show no code present if they don't sense anything. Remember that not all OBD2 readers will read all of the Prius systems. I imagine you know that though.

I hope you find a Prius to replace the one you lost. I know you are trying hard to find another one. Good luck to you!

Thanks Ed. Just did it. That's a great service. The site states that I'm not the owner. So I made the ownership name and address change application. Wonder how long it will take before they register it.....
