    Lots of us on the ChargePoint team drive electric vehicles and we like to get other people behind the wheel, too.

    Yao Wang, our email marketing manager, recently got a Tesla Model S. In this post on our blog he shares what he thought about on his journey to kick gas and gives tips that can help others on their EV search, too.

    I live in an apartment, and can't afford a home with a garage. There is no place to charge a car to my unit at my residence.

    My break-even rate for a public station is 50 cents per hour... and if I charge for 90 minutes, I should owe 75 cents, not $1.00.

    More than 50 cents per hour, and it will no longer be cost efficient for me, and I'll switch back to gas.

    Request: Have more (online, networked) stations in Downeast Maine. There's only one free station nearby.

    Glad someone is listening.
