Tire pressures

    I've read differing opinions on here how much pressure one should put in the tires. I'm running 42 front & 40 rear. Is this too much or am I ok. Thanks for any help.

    I'm running 38F and 36R. I was running higher, but now running closer to recommended pressure to see if it makes any difference in tire wear.
