Wow! Your observation reminded me that one of my former coworkers shared an apartment with three "performance" artists (strippers at the local "gentleman's club"). I spent a lot of time at Don's place, at least for awhile in the summer of '82. The ladies wore nothing or next to nothing at work and somewhat followed tradition at home. Well, it was the Palm Springs area with daytime highs in the 100sF. While they were friendly (I behaved), they were focused on guys in the $$$country club set, not reporters making a few centavos a week at the local newspaper.
