Just out of curiosity, as I have not seen any posts on this subject thus far, has anyone said "To heck with the MPG" and taken their Prius out on a lonely and deserted section of road and pushed the pedal down to see what it will do on the top end?

Do a search - we've discussed it before. The car won't do much past 104 or 106 (indicated) due to the 6000 RPM max speed of MG2 (electric drive motor). Those that have say it felt like there was power to go faster.

Did the search and sure enough there were plenty of posts to read.

Appreciate the tip of using ye' ol' search. Sort of like the F1 key! :)
