When I first used Torque Pro with a BAFX ANDROID OBD2 Scanner, over a year ago, it worked perfectly. It read the HV modules, temperature sensors, cooling fan speed, Aux battery SOC, etc.

Now it will read the Revs, Coolant temp, Fault codes but will not read and of the battery PIDS. I removed and recreated the car profile, and I tried the Torque Pro with BAFX OBD2 Scanner on 3 different cars but it behave the same with all 3 (Gen 2 and Gen 3) Prius.

Please help. I need to diagnose a P0A80 fault code.

Maybe something changed with Torque. Try a different app, like Car Scanner.

Thanks John. I appreciate your help.
I looked at a couple of videos on Car Scanner, but could not see if it displays the min and max voltage on each module in the high voltage battery?

For some perspective, I jumped into my wife's Prius Prime to see what detail I could pull with its Car Scanner profile.

I got all 96 individual cell voltages and the average for each stack (packs 1 to 4, as shown), but not Min & Max like with my bZ4X. Screenshot_20231229-215746.jpg

If I remember correctly, you have to "enable" added Gen2 data for Torque Pro in some submenu.

Or you could use Dr Prius with your BAFX.
